Aztofa Ointment is a prescription topical medication containing Tofacitinib, a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor. Composition

Uses
- Treats mild to moderate atopic dermatitis in adults

How to Use?
- Cleanse and dry the affected area
- Apply a thin layer of Aztofa Ointment once or twice daily
- Wash hands after application
- Avoid eyes, mouth, and broken skin
Dosage
Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily; do not use on more than 20% of body surface area; reassess after 8 weeks if no improvement
Safety Advice
- Wash hands thoroughly before and after application
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
- Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF 30+ during daytime as photosensitivity may occur
- Do not use occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician
- Inform your doctor of all concurrent medications to avoid drug interactions
Precautions
- Avoid use in patients with active skin infections at application site
- Not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age
- Use with caution in immunocompromised patients due to risk of serious infections
- Avoid application on open wounds, broken, or severely inflamed skin
- Monitor for signs of systemic absorption with prolonged or extensive use
- Discontinue if serious hypersensitivity reaction occurs
- Use with caution in patients with history of malignancy
