Product Description
KZ 2% Cream contains Ketoconazole (2% w/w), a broad-spectrum antifungal medication used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch, seborrheic dermatitis, and pityriasis versicolor. It works by inhibiting the growth of fungi and yeasts, helping relieve symptoms like itching, redness, flaking, and irritation. This cream should be applied regularly as prescribed to achieve effective and complete recovery from fungal infections.

Composition
- Ketoconazole 2% w/w
Uses
- Treats fungal skin infections including tinea corporis (ringworm)
- Manages tinea pedis (athlete's foot) caused by dermatophytes
- Treats tinea cruris (jock itch) effectively
- Manages seborrheic dermatitis with associated scaling and flaking
- Treats pityriasis versicolor caused by Malassezia species
- Relieves itching, redness, and irritation due to fungal infections
- Prevents recurrence of superficial fungal skin infections
How to Use?
- Clean and dry the affected area
- Apply a thin layer of the cream
- Use once or twice daily as prescribed
Dosage
Apply a thin layer to the affected area and surrounding skin once or twice daily for 2-4 weeks, or as directed by a physician. For pityriasis versicolor, apply once daily for 5 days.
Safety Advice
- Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly before application
- Avoid sharing towels or clothing to prevent spread of infection
- Keep away from eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water
- Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Consult a physician if symptoms do not improve within 4 weeks
Precautions
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
- Do not apply on broken, raw, or inflamed skin unless directed by physician
- Discontinue use if hypersensitivity or severe irritation occurs
- Use with caution during pregnancy; consult physician before use

- Complete the full course of treatment to prevent recurrence
- Avoid occlusive dressings unless prescribed
