Product Description
Mytret-C Aqueous Gel is a prescription topical formulation containing Tretinoin Microsphere and Clindamycin, designed for the management of acne. As indicated on the pack, this aqueous gel combines the comedolytic action of Tretinoin with the antibacterial effect of Clindamycin to help reduce acne lesions and improve skin texture. The microsphere technology allows controlled release of Tretinoin, helping to minimize irritation while enhancing efficacy. This gel is intended for external use only and should be applied strictly as directed by a physician.

Composition
- Tretinoin 0.025% w/w (as Microsphere)
- Clindamycin Phosphate 1.0% w/w
Uses
- Treats mild to moderate acne vulgaris in adults and adolescents
- Reduces inflammatory acne lesions including papules and pustules
- Reduces non-inflammatory acne lesions such as comedones
- Inhibits Cutibacterium acnes bacterial growth on skin
- Promotes skin cell turnover to prevent pore blockage
- Improves overall skin texture and appearance in acne-prone skin
How to Use?
- Clean and dry the affected area
- Apply a thin layer of Mytret-C Aqueous Gel as advised
- Avoid excessive application and contact with eyes or mouth
Dosage
Apply a thin layer to the affected area once daily at bedtime after cleansing and drying the skin. Use for 8-12 weeks or as directed by a physician.
Safety Advice
- Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF 30+ every morning during treatment
- Avoid use of harsh or abrasive cleansers and astringents on treated skin
- Introduce gradually — consider every other day application for the first 1-2 weeks to minimize irritation
- For external use only; do not ingest or apply near eyes
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy due to retinoid teratogenicity
- Avoid use in patients with history of regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or antibiotic-associated colitis
- Do not apply on broken, sunburned, eczematous, or abraded skin
- Avoid concomitant use with other retinoids or keratolytic agents
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nostrils, and mucous membranes
- Use with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to lincomycin or clindamycin
- Avoid excessive sun exposure and use of tanning beds during treatment

- Burning or stinging sensation
- Photosensitivity
- Pruritus at application site
- Skin desquamation
- Rare risk of antibiotic-associated colitis with clindamycin
