How to Use?
- As directed by physician.
- Take sufficient amount of cream & apply evenly.
- Uniformly spread and massage till it gets absorbed.
- Use as frequently as required or as recommended.
Dosage
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin areas twice daily; rub in gently and completely. Use for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms.
Safety Advice
- Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen and protective clothing to minimize sun exposure
- Wash hands after application unless hands are the treated area
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes
- Inform physician if skin condition worsens or does not improve within 6 weeks
Precautions
- Not recommended for children under 2 years of age
- Avoid use on infected skin until infection is cleared
- Do not apply on malignant or potentially malignant skin lesions
- Avoid prolonged continuous use; use intermittently for long-term management
- Minimize or avoid exposure to natural or artificial sunlight during treatment
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pimecrolimus or any excipient
- Use with caution in immunocompromised patients
- Do not use with occlusive dressings
