Composition
- Tacrolimus 0.1% w/w
Uses
- Treats moderate to severe atopic dermatitis unresponsive to conventional therapies
- Manages chronic eczema and reduces associated inflammation
- Reduces itching and skin irritation in inflammatory skin conditions
- Used as second-line treatment for vitiligo to restore skin pigmentation
- Controls psoriasis symptoms including redness and scaling

How to Use?
- Take a small quantity and apply it on the affected area.
- Do not apply on open skin/ wounds.
Dosage
Apply a thin layer to affected skin areas twice daily; continue for one week after clearance of symptoms. Use the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.
Safety Advice
- Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen and protective clothing to minimize sun exposure during treatment
- Wash hands thoroughly after application unless hands are the treated area
- Do not use near eyes, nose, or mouth; avoid mucous membranes
- Report any new skin infections, lymphadenopathy, or unusual skin changes to your physician promptly
- Store at room temperature below 25°C, away from direct heat and light
Precautions
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tacrolimus or macrolides
- Do not apply on infected skin lesions until infection is cleared
- Avoid use in immunocompromised patients
- Not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age
- Avoid prolonged continuous use; use intermittently where possible
- Do not apply under occlusive dressings
- Avoid exposure to natural or artificial sunlight during treatment
- Use with caution in patients with Netherton syndrome or generalized erythroderma
