Composition

Uses
- Treats moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in adults

How to Use?
- Cleanse the affected area and dry well
- Apply a thin layer of Tacrimed 0.1 Ointment and gently massage
- Avoid bathing or swimming immediately after application
Dosage
Apply a thin layer to affected skin areas twice daily; continue for one week after clearance of symptoms; use the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration necessary
Safety Advice
- Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen and protective clothing to minimize sun exposure
- Wash hands thoroughly after application unless hands are the treated area
- Do not use near eyes, nose, or mouth; rinse with water if contact occurs
- Inform your doctor of any history of lymphoma or skin cancer before use
- Do not use immunizations or live vaccines during treatment without medical advice
Precautions
- Not recommended for children under 16 years at 0.1% strength
- Avoid use on malignant or potentially malignant skin lesions
- Do not apply on areas of active skin infections
- Avoid prolonged continuous use; use intermittently
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tacrolimus or macrolides
- Avoid exposure to sunlight and UV radiation during treatment
- Do not use with occlusive dressings
