FAQs

Tacroz Ointment contains a combination of tacrolimus and pimecrolimus, which are medications known as topical calcineurin inhibitors. These medications work by blocking the action of certain immune cells that contribute to inflammation in the skin. Tacroz Forte Ointment is typically used to treat eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions, such as dermatitis and psoriasis.

Tacroz Ointment should be applied to the affected areas of skin as directed by your healthcare provider or pharmacist. It is generally recommended to apply the ointment 2 to 3 times daily, or as needed to control symptoms. Gently massage the ointment into the skin until it is fully absorbed. It is important to wash your hands thoroughly after applying the ointment to avoid getting it in your eyes or mouth.

Tacroz Ointment should not be used on broken or infected skin, or on large areas of the body. It is important to follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider or pharmacist when using this product, and to report any adverse reactions or concerns to your healthcare provider. You should also use caution when applying Tacroz Ointment to areas of skin that may be exposed to sunlight, as the medication may increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun. It is important to use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 when using this product.
